Biking

If you'd rather swap your hiking shoes for some pedals, you'll be happy to know that 7 out of the top 10 bike trails can be biked from the Cozy Cactus. The Slim Shady Trail, Courthouse Loop South Trail, and Bell Rock Trail are three popular spots for biking and the loop design of both offers convenience when returning home.

Our convenient location sits right by a few stunning options like the Slim Shady Trail (behind our property) and the Bell Rock Trail a short walk away. Both of these picturesque trails are worth checking out if you want some exercise or need some fresh desert air.

Indian Ruins

Sedona, like many other areas in the Verde Valley, was once home to Indians and Native American tribes like the Sinagua. Evidence of their existence is scattered among many spots in the Verde Valley. To view some of these intriguing ruins and petroglyphs, check out sites like Montezuma Castle, Honanki Heritage Site, and Tuzigoot National Monument.
